Location Scouting
We considered the locations of the music videos we researched, and decided we wanted a classy, prestigious location for our video to be set in. Obviously, we couldn't have shots of snowy mountains or cities engulfed in snow, so we have to adapt and use what we can to get as close to a conventional R&B music video as possible.
We wanted ours scenes to be mostly in London, around areas that had trees/greenery in order to capture the Autumn/Winter feel. After having a few locations in mind, we went onto Google Maps to see how feasible and diverse the locations would be, if we were going to shoot there. We wanted iconic shots in London because of the class and wealthy image that is reflected across the whole R&B genre.
Along with costumes that the actors will have on, we feel these are realistic and ideal locations to be shooting an R&B music video. These Locations in London offer a wide range of structural mise-en-scene, such as lamp posts, busy streets, and environmental features. The locations themselves are versatile in the fact that they allow us to have long shots, close up, establishing shots, and so on. We will decided the shots in the storyboards, however if we feel on the day that the shot we planned wasn't the best, we can adapt the angles we get to suit the location and weather that is current when we shot in London.
Below is a gallery of images with the address in the top left hand corner, these are the locations we feel it will be most important to shoot at.

Map of Location
This is a map of the locations we are going to, excluding the studio that we are going to use. We will get off the train thats closest to point 'A', and then walk the blue route, taking the shots as we get to them. By taking this route, we can ensure we will get all the shots that are required on that day.
